2017 : A look back at our fullest year yet.

It seems like every year we are at this point (year end) and take a glance back at what the prior 365 days have brought us. We are always slightly amazed at how much can be crammed into 52 weeks and how when your nose is to the grindstone, it's easy to forget to look up and reflect. While previous years were no doubt just as full in their own right and not at all lacking in adventure (we see you, '15 & '16) 2017 has proven to be one with the most trajectory, if you will.

We may not have taken Scotty across the country and neither of us tied to knot this year, but sometimes it's not always about the extremes. This year we had the honor of designing for the most brides we ever have had, and spanning from all parts of the country. We had brides hailing from Omaha to Portland, and just about everywhere in between.

eaux claires festival was back in full force, and we had an amazing time being a part of the celebration for the third year in a row. We held our annual pop-up shop at red's mercantile inside of our vintage trailer Scotty, selling our signature tops and flower crowns. But perhaps the most exciting of all was the large scale installation we were able to do backstage, all thanks to our dear friends and festival curators/stylists dear hearts.

We also had the sincere honor of collaborating on several styled shoots and weddings, both local and across the country to opposite coasts; some of them even being published in print and online publications!

And to give you more of a glimpse of into what goes on in our day to day, we started a new series on our social media, aptly titled #behindtheseams.

this year we also brought on Bash bozeman in bozeman, MT and true north bridal in chatham, Ny as our newest boutiques to carry linyage. We are very strategic in who we decide to partner with and we feel so wonderful about the brides we get to serve in these respective cities. each boutique and its' owners have been a dream to work with and so supportive of what linyage embodies.

As new years often prompt, 2018 will bring many new facets to the linyage brand by way of goals, ideas and our zest to implement what has been long a-brewin' behind the scenes. While we will be sharing things as the months turn new, what we can tell you is that we are over-the-moon excited to expand our brand in other avenues that have long had our heart. We know that our brides are beautiful, multi-dimensional individuals with interests that span far outside of the box, and we are ready to serve that.

This little engine that could wouldn't be possible without those who continue help push this vision forward and believe in this American made brand. We continue to value and cherish the ample encouragement from clients and otherwise and never ever take the ability to do what we do for granted.

May this new year bring you one of clarity, peace and belief in yourself-- all notions we are ourselves are going to practice and we cannot wait to bring you along for the ride.
