we're growing | welcome : velvet raptor!

It all started over some waffles and a vision board in 2014.  well actually, it likely started long before that when we first met in elementary. but alas, here we are— exactly four years to the date when we officially became an LLC and got the keys to our very first studio. it felt fitting to announce our next avenue...

folks, linyage is now the proud owner of velvet raptor— a luxe line of velvet photo albums, guest journals, vow books, stationary and other various heirloom goods for bridal and beyond!

our archival books and stationary are bound with fresh hues of silken velvet in an artisan bindery.  additions to the brand will continue to grow organically with a penchant for aesthetic, our passion for design, and desire to create heirloom product that has a place in anyone’s home.

we dare say that the heritage quality of the two brands make the perfect marriage - our dream since the beginning was to expand into unique paper goods and it has manifested in truely the most perfect way.  we knew that our brides— who are akin to all things vintage, nostalgia, heirloom and quality— would appreciate something they could incorporate into their wedding and days thereafter.  when the opportunity arose to acquire velvet raptor, the long-standing company we have always adored and that has been a part of our branding since day one (note: velvet dress labels and cards) we knew this was it. THIS was the exact thing we had been manifesting for so long and it was already so thoughtful and lovingly created by our dear friend and founder adrienne, and waiting for the perfect new home. 

much like the hand-made process of our custom wedding dresses, so too is the process of velvet raptor products. each piece that is de-bossed, whether it be an album or a card, is done in house on our vintage press. we wholeheartedly stay true to our love of all things old + faithful, as well as the process of handing off a product that we can say with certainty was ethically and thoughtfully made.

former owner adrienne has years of unparalleled advice and expertise that she so generously has been grooming us in, allowing us to confidently take the baton of a well-respected existing company. we could not be more honored to take what has so beautifully been curated and share + grow it with the rest of the world.
